The Department of Education has created a digital resource for parents that consolidates more than 2000 government websites into one. The app provides parents with a resource that allows them to have a full line of communication with their children as well as teachers. This app allows grades and progress to be overseen, events and achievements noted and even lets parents view what their children are ordering for lunch.
Our job was to educate staff, teachers and external stakeholders about the new app and its functionality. We developed a series of educational video’s that illustrate the full scale UX functionality of the app, supported by a series of interviews conducted with DOE employees. This was then incorporated into a travelling exhibition to build Australia-wide awareness about the app, its features and how the resources will be rolled out in 2500 NSW State Schools.
